Looking for a playful way to turn your favorite pet photos into one-of-a-kind wall art?
This idea might be perfect for you!
I made one art piece for each of our seven cats and hung them together as a little gallery wall in their kitty playroom.

Here’s how I did it (so you can too!):
I printed black-and-white photos of each of my cats on regular printer paper
Cut them out.
Then Mod Podged them onto painted MDF boards (canvas panels or wood plaques would work too!)
Once they were glued down and dry, I had fun decorating around each kitty using:
- – Acrylic paint
- – Paint pens
- – Glitter
- – Faux jewels
- – And trims like pom-pom ribbon and tassels
You can keep it simple or go all in.
It’s totally up to you.
To finish, I sealed each piece with a clear varnish spray to protect the art and add a bit of shine.
This is a great project for pet lovers, kids, or anyone wanting to turn favorite photos into something playful and personal.
No two will turn out the same, and that’s the best part—because you get to paint them with your own imagination.
